Senior Lecturer in Design and Computing; Programme Leader - MA Interiors (Architecture & Design)
After completing his Diploma in Architecture at Thames Polytechnic in 1976 and working in public practice, Tony completed an MSc in Environmental Psychology at Surrey University in 1977 and continued to work there as a Research Fellow investigating the impact of the introduction of new technology on office environments. From 1981, Tony spent the next decade working for architectural and CAD software developers, as well as users, in a variety of technical, user and international support and consultancy roles in the UK and overseas. Tony completed an MA in Computer Integrated Publishing at Middlesex University in 1993 and subsequently remained in teaching, initially at the Royal College of Art on the Computer-Related Design course, and later back at Middlesex University for the Interior Design programme. Tony has been Programme Leader for the innovative MA Digital Architecture programme, the BA Interior Architecture & Design and BA Design, Interior & Applied Arts programmes and Curriculum Leader for the 3D Design Group and Director of Programmes for the Interior Architecture & Design subject area. Tony is currently Programme Leader for the MA Interiors (Architecture & Design) programme and the Admissions Coordinator for the IAD Directorate.
