The self is only a threshold: Research seminar on the legacy of Gilles Deleuze

On the legacy of Gilles Deleuze 20 years after the end of his life.

Thursday 5th November 2015, 2-6pm, room G230

Gilles Deleuze’s work has been incredibly generative beyond the realm of philosophy, creating new forms of thought and offering sets of powerful concepts to practitioners in a variety of fields, from architecture to cinema, from politics to psychoanalysis, from pedagogy to military strategy. This seminar will be an afternoon of shared reflections on the influence and current status of Deleuzian thought upon our contemporary cultural landscape. We will alternate a number of short presentations with group conversations in an informal setting.
All welcome to join, even if you can only stay for part of the session.
