Simon Read, Ozlem Edizel and Graeme Evans at AAG San Francisco

Simon Read, Ozlem Edizel and Graeme Evans are presenting at the American Association of Geographers (AAG) annual conference in San Francisco, 28-31 March, where they will be coordinating two sessions on Hydrocitizenship, the AHRC project on which they have been working for the past 2 years.

Graeme is convening the sessions with presenters on a range of arts and socially engaged practice in the UK and internationally, including initial research findings arising from the Hydrocitizenship project with case studies from the Lee Valley, Shipley/Leeds, Brighton and Scotland.

Graeme and Ozlem will also be chairing an AAG panel session on Mega Events based on the RSA Research Network they convene, to be opened by RSA Director Sally Hardy. An edited book to be published by Routledge is to be discussed at the meeting drawing on the past four years of the Research Network’s workshops.
