Spaces for Criticism: Shifts in Contemporary Art Discourses

The work of Katy Deepwell as art critic and editor of n.paradoxa: international feminist art journal is the
subject of a dialogue with curator Suzana Milevska in a new text titled 'Feminist Critique: Open and Critical Enquiry: A Conversation between Katy Deepwell and Suzana Milevska', included in the upcoming publication Spaces
for Criticism: Shifts in Contemporary Art Discourses
, edited by Thijs Lijster, Suzana Milevska, Pascal Gielen and Ruth Sonderegger (Amsterdam: Valiz /Antennae, 2015).

Milevska describes n.paradoxa in the introduction as 'one of the rare periodical publications that has continued to provide space to women writers who in their texts focus on the art production and representation of art by women artists who are active in the international art scene but also in their local art scenes'.

KT press recently launched a new online project called "Feminist Art Topics" - a listing of 941 works by women artists (post-1960) organised into 30 topics, interlinked to artist's websites and museum collections, selected by the editor. This resource is meant as a study guide for students and represents an extension of the scholarly academic work of the journal into the curriculum.
