Graeme Evans to present at Royal Geographical Society (RGS) Annual International Conference: The Age of the Anthropocene

University of Exeter, 3 September 2015

The Athropocene is a proposed ‘geological’ epoch that begun when human activities started to have a significant global impact on the Earth's ecosystems and climate.

Graeme Evans will present at two invited sessions: Creative Place-Making: Challenging the Masterplan through Co-Design & Co-Production, and Waste Narratives of the Athropocene, developing models of arts-informed citizen science. Working with Amsterdam-based artist Irene Janze (Buro Jan-ZE) and Dr Alex Plows from Bangor University they have formed a network of artists, natural and social scientists and small innovative industrial companies which have recently bid for AHRC Research Network funding.
