Being Visible: Feminism, Art & the Internet

ICA Studio, Friday Salon

10 January 2014, 3pm

£5, concessions available
Part of a series of events coinciding with Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2013

This Salon, Being Visible: Feminism, Art & the Internet, looks at the role that the internet has played in enabling feminist discourse within contemporary art. Exploring areas of self-publishing, archiving and social media we will question how feminism is distributed, remixed and re-contextualised online to make visible.
