Senior Lecturer in Illustration
Andrew Baker is an illustrator and academic with over twenty years experience in illustration. He studied at Liverpool Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art, and now teaches at Middlesex University. His work has been featured in Images: The Best of British Illustration every year for the past eleven years, covering the Design, New Media, Book and Editorial sections of this prestigious annual. He has also been featured in the D&AD annual, Novum, Eye and other design journals. His illustrations can be seen in most serious newspapers and magazines, from The Guardian to The New York Times, in on-line environments and shop windows, on billboards and book covers.?He has curated a number of group exhibitions, with the next, 'Happy Birthday Edward Lear', planned to show at The Poetry Society in Covent Garden, London, in May 2012.
