Animation student wins Best Student Film at BAA 2014

Antonio J Busto Algarin’s ‘How I Killed My Imaginary Best Friend’ wins the Best Student Film category at the British Animation Awards 2014

The Day I Kiled My Best Friend, directed by Antonio J Busto Algarin (BA Animation student) and produced at Middlesex University won the Best Student Film category at the British Animation Awards 2014 on Friday night. Busto’s film is an imaginative tour de force of stunning experimental animation that draws you into its surreal and disturbing world. The Day I Kiled My Best Friend was selected from a huge volume of entries "for the audacity of its imagination and animation, marriage of energy and intensity with focus and discipline, to create a  fearless and irresistible personal vision of the universal" said the Jury.
