Lecturer in Fashion Communication and Styling
Alex Mein is a graduate of Ravensbourne College of Communication and is currently brand partner at London based menswear designer Mirja Rosendahl - consulting on design, brand strategy and creative direction. Recent press features include I-D Magazine and Selectism.com.
As a fashion editor Alex is a frequent contributor to Slashstroke Magazine and his illustration and textile design clients include Harvey Nichols, Ann-Sofie Back,Topshop and Tesco.
From 2008 to 2013 he directed menswear (buying and visual merchandising) at independent London store Diverse, working with international brands such as Paul Smith, APC, Our Legacy and Margaret Howell.
His interests include lo-fi media culture across print and digital and the visual aesthetics of sub/counter cultures past, present and future.
